Zero 2 (Japanese: ゼロツー, Hepburn: Cipher Tsū ) , also called Lawmaking:002 ( コード:002 , Kōdo:002 ) and nine'℩ ( ナインイオタ , Nain Iota , "Nine Iota") is a fictional character in the Japanese anime boob tube series Darling in the Franxx past A-1 Pictures, Trigger, and CloverWorks.[nine] She was designed every bit the nigh prominent character and icon of the series. Mentally, she connected fighting VIRM in a galactic boxing in space. She and Hiro reconnect, allowing Zero Two to merge with Strelizia, condign the Strelizia True Apus, and overpower the VIRM. She and Hiro then part ways with their friends simply promise to return. In the final episode, Cipher Two and Hiro are nearly defeated but they sacrifice themselves to destroy the VIRM home planet and complimentary the souls trapped past VIRM. At some point in the future, they are reincarnated into two children.

Several pieces of merchandising action figures based on Cypher Ii have been announced. A Nendoroid, a make of figures manufactured by Skillful Smile Company that typically feature exchangeable faces and torso parts, was released in December 2018.[22] Other figures from Kotobukiya and Due south.H.
